The winner of any handioap of the advertised value of LSO after declaration of weiglts to carry a penalty of five pounds ; the winner of any handicap of the advertised value of LIOO after declaration of weights to carry ■ penalty ot seven pounds. Penalties to ■ cumulative. Hack and Hurdle races except BULBS and REGULATIONS— All races to be run under the rules racing. In case of a protest the same must 1 lodged with- the Secretary within 15 mi utes after the race has been ran, will deposit of £2, such deposit to be forfeited the protest be found to be frivolous or vej tious. Horses walking over will receive 50 per cent, of the stakes. A Hack shall mean a horse that has never, daring this racing season, started for or entered for, weight-for-age, or handicap at time of starting, and has not been nominated for Derbies, Champagnes, or Guineas, to be run for this racing season, Hack Races excepted,

Weighr-a to be declared on Wed» nesday, December 0, at 8 p.m. Entries, including Maiden Hack Race, and Celling Hack Race, and acceptances on Saturday, 19th December, at 9 p,m, or on arrival of train fom Wellington. Nomiuations for Consolation Handicap to be made to the Secretary 15 minntes after the Telegraph Stakes i'b rnn Weights will be declared 15 minutes after nominations have closed. Acceptances will elose 15 minutes after the weights have been declared. The enclosure opposite the Grand Stand is reserved for members and thoir families only upon production of ticket.
