The winner of any handicap of the advertised value of LSO after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of five pounds ; the winner ef any handicap of the advertised vahfF of LIOO after declaration of weights to carry r penalty ot seven pounds. Penalties to be cumulative. Haek and Hurdle races excepted. BULE3 iso REGULATIONS— All raoes to be ran under the rales of racing. In case of a protest the same mast be lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes after the race has been ran, with a deposit of £2, such deposit to be forfeited if the protest be found to be frivolous er vexatious. No scratching of horses allowed, nnless through the Secretary, and 30 minntes before the time of starting. No entry will be received for any race except under the conditions that all claims, disputes, and objections arising shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decision upon all points shall be final. All Nominations, Entrances, Acceptances, etc., accompanied by the necessary amount, | must be addressed to the Secretary, Mas* terton. No entry will be received after the hoar named en any pretence whatever. Any Jockey riding, except in colours, will be fined 2 sors. The amount for second horse will be deducted )from the advertised amount of stakes ' The winner of Selling Hac* Baee to be •old immediately after the race for 20 sovs any surplus to be divided between the Club and the seeond horse. Horses walking over will receive 60 per cent, of the Stakes.
