Fair Agnes in addition to Muster Agnes, has thrown another good hurdle raerr in Magnesia and a fairish sprinter in St Agnes, Rosa A'Boiiheur and her sons. Grace was c,nly exhibited once when she gained first ns a two year old. Jenney Slasher's grand dam was only exhibited three times, three first and two special prizes. Lord Nelson was wellknown to breeders in the *\\ airarapa, and sained many honours in the show ring, not only here, but in the South Island. The Masher gained first prize in Masterton in 188 i"i also Sir Lawrence's special of £Mor the best foal by Lord Neluon, and in 1860 he gained first at Carterton. It is needless to say any more as the above named horses were so well and favorably known in tlie Wairaiapa, is in itself a sufficient guarantee to breeders.
