No entry will be received for any race except under the conditions that all claims, decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decision upon all points shall be final. All Nominations, Entrances, Acceptances, etc., accompanied by the necessary amount, jnust be addressed to the Secretary, Mas-. ...terton. ' No entry will be received after the hour named on any pretence whatever.' Any Jockey riding, except in colours, will Defined 2 sovs. The amount for second horse will be deducted from the advertised amount of stakes. The winner of Selling Hack Bace to be sold immediately after the race for 20 sovs, any surplus to be divided between the Club and the second horse. Horses walking over will receive 50 per cent, of the stakes. A Hack shall mean a horse that has never, during this season, started for or entered for, wehjht-for-age, or handicap at time of starting, and has not been nominated for Derbies, Champagnes, or Guineas, to be run for this racing season, Hack Races excepted. NOMINATIONS— Nominations for all Handicaps [to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary] close at Masterton on Wednesday, December 2, at 8 p.m., or on arrival of train from Wellington. Weights to be declared on Wed- - neaday, December 9, at 8 p.m. Entries, including Maiden Hack Race, and Selling Hack Race, and acceptances on Saturday, 19th December, at 9 p.m, or on arrival of train fom Wellington.
