fjlO stand this season the Purebred Stallion THE MASHER The Masher is a beautiful dark bay, with black points, has immense bone, and plenty of hair, is extremely good-tempered, and lias splendid style and action, bred by Mr R. l)agg, Masterton, and is out of his prize mare Grace, by Lord Kelson. Grace cut of Jenny, by Young Prince Charley. Jenny was bred by Mr A. Coc'tburn, Mannia, and is out of Jess by Young Loftv. Grace was only exhibited once when she gained first as a two year old. Jenney Masher's grand dam was only exhibited three times, gaining three first and two special prizes. Lord Kelson was wellknown to breeders iu the AVairarapa, and gained many honours in the show ring, not only here, but in the South Inland. The Slasher gained first prize in Masterton in 188.) also Mr Lawrence'* special of £."> for the best foal by Ijord Nel>on, and in tSSIi he gained first at Carterton. It is needless to say any more as the above named horses wore so well and favorably known in the AVairaiapa, is in itßelf a sufficient guarantee to breeders.
