HORACE CHESTER.

Tie Coming Performaaco. la tfasterton. Mr Horace Chester, who is adver fased to appear at the Theatre V.r-vil on FricUy eveniDg next, for that night only, is a recent arrival from London, and has been appearing at the Exchange Hall, Wellington, during the past week, with the most gratifying success in his entertainment entitled " A cure for the Blues." The press of that city are most flattering in their comments on his various impersonations and his vocal powers. His im&tion of the famous tenor Sims keeves is especially singled out for dis'inction, while his lightning changes are characterised as being excellent both in quality and celerity. Mr Chester also introduces his " Mustacheograph," an entire novelty in the Southern Hemisphere, and also presents to his audience a series of celebrities which are spoken of as being marvellous representations of their prototypes, such as Chinese Gordon, Lord Bandolph Churchill, Gladstone, Beaconsfield, and other lesser lights. The mere fact of Mr Chester being able to entertaia an audience for two hours unassisted must certainly stamp him as an artist of great ability. Prior arrangements will prevent, him appearing for more than the one night advertised. Mr Harry Saville, who our readers will remember as a leading member of the Dobson-Kennedy ,Co., is acting as advance agent for Mr Chester. We should, certainly anticipate a large audieiJca to welcome the " Wandering Minstrel," as Mr Chester styles himself.
