(The ordinary monthly meeting of the Masterton Boad Board was hold on Saturday last. Present— Messrs Bpetuam (Chairman), M'Leod, Wardell and M'Keuzio. It was resolved that Mr Falconer be written to, informing him that the Board agrees to his putting his fence twenty five links within the reserve boundary, on the understanding that the reserve shall be extended twentyfive links on the opposite side. Mr Falconer's offer of JEI towards the cost of removing the gate was accepted, the work to be done under the supervision of the Engineer. An application from Mr Hare for wire to the road through his property at Kangitumau was not entertained.

Mr M'Leod gave notice to move to rescind the resolution determining to do away with all gates on roads. The meeting then adjourned.
