10 stand this season the Purebred Stallion Ths Masher is a beautiful dark hay, with black points, has immense bone, and plenty of hair, is extremely good-tempered, and has splendid style and action, bred by Mr R. Dagg, Masterton, and is ont of his prize marc Grace, by Lord Nelson. Grace cut of Jenny, by Young Prince Charley. Jenny was bred by Mr A. Ooc'tburn, Manaia, and is out of Jess by Young Loftr. Grace was only exhibited once when she' gained first as a two year old. Jenney Masher's grand dam was only exhibited three times, gaining three first and two special prizes. Lord Nelson was wellknown to breeders in the AVairarapa, and gained many honours in the show ring, not only here, but in the South Island. The Masher gained first prize in Masterton in 18S6 also Mr Lawrence's special of i's for the best foal by Lord Nelson, and in 1886 he gainod first at Carterton. It is needless to say any more as the above named horses were so well and farorably known in theWairaiapa, is in Uelf a sufficient guarantee to breeders.
