Freeman B, Jackson & Co. report as follows: —The quality of the fat cattleentercdatJohn3onvilleyeßterday ranged from prime to good ; bidding was somewhat irregular, aad prices varied accordingly, yielding an average of 15s the 1001b. A very small entry ot sheep were penned. These were moderate sorts of ewes and wethers mixed, that made from 14s lOd to 15a. No pigs to hand. Cattle—Prime bullocks, £7 12s 6d ; others, £6 7s to £6 17s 6d ; lighter weights, £5 27s 6d to £6 ss. .

Mr F. H. Wood reports of the stock sale held by him yesterday at the Taratahi sale yards as follows : The attendance of buyers was very large, and stock yarded considerably in excess of that advertised. More particularly in sheep. The bidding was spirited throughout, every line | submitted selling readily. The following is a quotation of prices realised, viz.— (Sheep : forward wethers, 14s Id ; fat ewes and wethers, 15s 9d ; fat ewes, Us to 15a 6d; two tooth store eweß, 13s 9d; store ewes, mixed ages, 9s 9d to lls4d; culled ewes, 7s Id to 9s; ewes and lambs, 12s 7d to 17s 2d ; hoggets, 9s 9d to Us Id, the latter price being obtained for a good line of 300. Cattle : Dairy cows, L 8 to L 4 10s ; do springing, L 4 10s to L 4 19s; fat do L 5 18s 6d.—Horses : Hacks and medium drafts, hi 10s to Ll4.
