fT\O stand this season the Purebred Stallion THE MASHER. Tha Masher is a beautiful dark bay, with black points, has immense bone, and plenty of hair, is extremely good-tempered, and haa splendid style and action, bicd by Mr R. Dagg, Masterton, and is out of his prist marc Grace, by Lord Nelson, Grace cut of Jenny, by Young Prince Charley. Jenny was bred by Mr A. Coc'tburn, Manaia, and is out of Jess by Young Lofty. Grace was only exhibited once when she gained first as a two year old. Jenney Masher's grand dam was only exhibited three times, gaining three first and two special prizes. Lord Nelson was wellknown to breeders in tho Wajrarapa, and gained many honour* in the show ring, not only here, but in the South Island. The Masher gained first prize in Masterton in ISBO also Mr Lawrenoe's special of &"> for the best foal by Lord Neh-on, and in IHSfi he gained first at Carterton. It is needless to say any more as the above named horses were so well and favorably known in the Wairaiapa, is in tself a sufficient guarantee to breeders. The Masher will travel to Grcytown on Turodaya and Masterton on Thursdays, and the rest of the week at his owner's stables, Park Hoad, Carterton.
