j RULES & REGULATIONS. 1. Races to be run under Metropolitan Rules. ' 2. No entry will be received for idt no* except upon the condition that all claims, I disputes, and objections arising shall bo deoidcdby a majority of the Stewards present, or whom they may appoint, and their decision on all points SHALL BE FINAL. 3. All Nominations, Entries, and Acceptances (to be made in writing, addressed to the Secretary at the Observer Office, darterton), will be received up to the arrival of the late train from Wellington on the advertised date of closing. No nominations or aceeptances will be reooived on any pretence whaV ever unless accompanied by the necessary foe. 4. A Hack shall mean a horse that has never started for, or is entered foz#,» weight for ago or handicap at time of J has not been nominated for" Champagnes, or Guineas to be rurracing season: aaok races oxcopted,< 5. In all Nominations'for Hand name, age, pedigree, color, sex, and previous performances of tho horse, name of owner and colors of rider must be given.
