The o*ner. of Master Agnes announces in the advertising columns of this journal for the third year in sueeession that the son of Cassl vellaunus and Fair Agnes will stand this sesson'at White's Line, Carterton, 'Wairarapa, at t&e fee of of sgs. Master Agnes' tabulated pedigree reads as under : His sire, Cassivellaunus (who is now dead), only raced twiee in England, and that was a two year old when he won both stakes he started for at Newmarket. In addition to Master Agnes, he has sired in this eoleny I Envious, Jealousy, Billy, Moss Rose, Puritan and other good racers. Cassirellaunus' sire Caraetaeus won the Derby at Epsom is 1862,1 and his dam Campanile, is a daughter of the emperor of stallions, Stoekwell. I Fair Agnes, the dam of Master Agnes, is a daughter of the imported hay Middleton horse St Aubyn, and is out of Phoebe, the maternal ancestress of so many good herses'ineluding Pinflre's dam,. Queen of the South, ParaWhenua's dam, Countess, Matas dam. Raupo; Wolverine's dam, Tangi, aud Sinking Fund I who ran a dead heat with Mata for the Dunedin Cup of 1879. Fair Agnes in addition to Master Agnes, has I thrown another good hurdle racer in Magnesia i and a fairish sprinter ia St Agnes, Rose A'Bouheiir and her sons, Marore, Choktbore, and Badsworth, were all above the average on the Turf.

As a two year aid Master Agnes wra the Spring Nursery Handicap at the C.J.C.
