Wellington, Monday, The Court of Appeal began }i| BBBsion this morpipg, all the Judges being present excepting Chief Judge Preudergast, who is detained s( Wanganui. The list of oases to be heard this week have been fixed by counsel from Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Aehburton, Dunedin, and Invercargill. It is at present arranged to take the two Pioturesque Atlas cases at the same timet The Auokland oase Masefield v. Karakara Botana is being argued, The question involved is the right of Maoris to prevent the removal of flax machinery alleged to be improperly set up on land to whioh the appellant had no right.
