By this method thick heavy plates are impossible, as only one layer of vulcanite is used and' the feeling to the tongue is the same as if no plate was worn, Wtarers of artificial teeth will at once see the benefit and comfort to be derived by this procets. After a vote of thapks to the chairman and one also to Mr Anderson for the use of the Hall the meeting adjourned, The Delegates from Bootmakers ! Unions in various parts pf the colony held a meeting at Wellington on Friday night which lasted till six o'clock on the following morning. Nothing was arrived at, and a further meeting was held on Saturday. There is said to be a probability of a general strike of bootmakers over the Colony. '
