In all Nominations for Handicaps th name, age, pedigree, cfilor, sex, and previous performances of the horse, name of owner and colors of rider must be given. Any protest must be lodged with the Secretary in writing within ten minutes after ihc race to which it refers has been run, and must be accompanied by 2 sovs., which will be returned only if the protest is sustained. 7. Horses walking over will rcceive-50 per c«nt of the Stakes. 8. All persons intending to withdraw Horses are requested to give notice in writing to the Secretary half an hour before the official time of starting such race. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine, to be imposed by the Stewards, not exceeding £5, which shall be placed to the credit of the race fund.
