Alteration by the Representation Commission.

Wellington, Thursday.

The following are the electoral districts as amended by the Representation Commission :—Masterton comprises the whole of the Pahiatua County excepting the Makuri riding, and an area situated North of the line extending along the Tararua road (known as the road to Palmerston), along the northern boundary of the Woodville-Mangatainoka Special Set* tlement and the northern boundary of the Pahiatua town district, across country to the Tiraumea river near Ng.»turi township, together with the whole of tbe Wairarapa North County axcepting the Wainuioiu Biding and that part of Akiteo Eiding stretching northward from Aohanga river to tbe County boundary, as well as that portion of Masterton Biding in the existing Electoral district, Masterton Borough forms part of this Electorate, as also does tlie Pahiatua town district, The southern boundary of this district, extending from the East Coast to the Tararua range, is unal tered.

Wairarapa.—This district is unaltered

In the Wellington province a new electoral district called Otaki takes the place of the present Hutt district, which disappears altogether. Otaki comprises Horowhenua county, the whole of the Manawatu county, excepting that portion of the Mount Stewart riding which lies east of the road from Halcombc to Palmerstou by way of sections 93,94, aud 77, Block XII, Oroua survey district, together with the ridings of Maungaroa, Wainuiomata, and Horokiwi, of the Hutt County, and that portion of the Epuui riding situated to the north east of the road leading northwards from the borough of Lower Hutt, past Belmont, and up the valley of the Hutt through sections 51, 42, 203, 428, 431, 836, 435,434, and 433 to sections 436, and via the last mentioned section to Horokiwi riding. This district comprises also the borough ol Foxton and Kapiti Island.
