Dagg, Masterton, and is out of his prize mare Grace, by Lord Nelson. Grace cut of Jenny, by Young Prince Charley. Jenny was bred by Mr A, Coc'tburn, Manaia, and is out of Jess by Young Lofty. Grace was only exhibited once when she gained first as a two year old. Jenney Masher's grand dam was only exhibited three times, gaining throe first and two special prizes. Lord Nelson was wellknown to breeders in the Wairarapa, and gained many honours in the show ring, not only here, but in the South Island. The Masher gained first prize in Masterton in 18i>5 also Mr Lawrence's special of £. r > for the best foal by Lord Nelson, and in 18S0 he gained first at Carterton. It is needless to say any more as the above named horses were so well and favorably known in the Wairaiapa, is in tself a sufficient guarantee to breeders. Tho Maiher will travel to Grcytown on Tuesdays and Masterton on Thursdays, and the rest of the week at his owner's stables, Park Road, Carterton.
