Diseasa Amongst the Natives.
Wellinston, Tuesday. The Government are in receipt (of a report from Major Gudgeon on the condition of the natives on the East Coast, in which he states that the list so far shows 50 cases of typhoid fever, but it is expected before it is complete there will bo quite 800 oases, principally about Waiapu. Ho .<- recommends that a competent cal officer be sout to the aistriot^^^'
