perty of Dk Hoskixg, at Weraiti, and close to the bush is erected a Mill, almost new, vith all the latest improvements in machinery, and in splendid working order. From its cbse proximity to the bush, timber in any quantity can be supplied at the lowest possible cost. A tramway connects with the Te Ore Ore road. In addition to the timber, tbe Company has aho the solo right to the limestone on the property, of which thore is abundance, and of superior quality.

The Company has purchased the right to cut the whole of the bush on Mk A. Burnett's propeity, Fernndge, and a Mill is being worked there in connectioo with the businers. The whole of (he Timber from both properties is delivered at (he Kuripuni Mill belonging to the Company, where Planing and Moulding Machines are erected, and this portion of the work is carried out.

During tlie years Messrs Henderson and Shute carried on the business they secured a first-class cou - nectwn for supplying iinber in Wellington and the S->uth Island. All this is also the Company's. Mr David Henderson's services as Manngtng Director are secured by the Corapiuv, and several of the Directors have personally inspected the working of the various mills, atiH they can confidently recommend t!;o enterprise to the favorable consideration 4ra*»g the many ad'ntages of a business of this character ,s thefiict that a large quantity of timber is sent out of the district monthly and about £SOO of this money is circulated in men's wages, and the other expenses necessary for workine the business, thus causing all classes of the community to benefit thereby.
