Lowes and loras' Stock Report Meßsrs Lowes and lorns report a brisk sale of stock at their yards, Masterton, ytsterday. About 200 head of cattle of all classes were yarded and met with spirited competition, prices fully maintaining late advances. The following rates were realised under the hammer:—Fat heifers, 87/6 and 95/, or say 16/ per lOOlba ; fat cows, 84/' to 90/ j fat steera, 'plain,' 110/.to 115/; four or five year old store bullocks, 98/6; three year old steers, 82/6: two and a-halfyear oW-steers, 62/6 'to 72/6 : >- Q 'Cc-mhs to 2 year 0 )j 06/ to 55/; mixed yearlings 14/ ; 2 and 3 year old heifers, 50/6 to 55/ ; young cows, 45/ to 60/ ; dairy cows, 'dry,' 63 to 76/; in milk, 90/. Pigs (weaners), 10/ to 12/. Hacks, Beveral offered, but did net reach reserre, buyers probably waiting for the firm's special hcrse sale on the 14th of next month.
