He was also doing his utmost to entourage the dairy industry and fruit culture, and if he could find an expert for the latter industry he would be willing to appoint him. Sullivan, alias Clampect, was found this morning lying in an almost insensible state on the footpath in Featheraton Terrace. It appears he had been on a severe drinking bout, and will be charged with drunkenness to-morrow. The police, however, will ask for a remand for a week to allow of bis recovering from the effects of the drink.
