Seculiar Divorce Cass.
Wellington, Saturday. A peculiar divorce case was heard by the pliief Justice this morning. Margaret Josephine Dunn, formerly., a schoolmistress, sued for a divorce from Walter Essen Cross, of Welling ;>;ton, on the grourd of the latter'i "" bigamy. • The evidence showed hi —been married in Londoi 1875 to a wife wh< is still alive and testified, 'ii ' Court. It farther appeared he ha told Miss Dunn when he marriec her he had another wife, who died There was no appearance of Cross,anc a decree nisi was granted, to be made absolute in fourteen days. . < The Vacant ChristchurchSeat. The Mormon leaders have arrived from Samoa to buy land, and settle down to convert Tongans to the Mor mon faith.
