The Company has the rights of cutting the splendid Totara Forest on the porperty of Da Hosring, at Weraiti. and close to the bush is erected a Mill, almost new, wth all the latest improvements in machinery, and in splendid working order. From itt clmb proximity to the bush, timber in any quantity can be supplied at the lowest possible cost. A tramway connects with the Te Ore Ore road. In addition to the timber, the Company has ako the sole right to the limestone on the property, of which there is abundance, and of superior quality. The Company haa purchased the right to cut the whole of the bush on Mr A. Boknett's property, Fernndge, and a Mill is beiug worked there in connection with the business. The whole of the Timber from both properties is delivered at the Kuripuni Mill belonging to the Company, where Planing and Moulding Machines are erected, and this portion of the work is carried out. During the several years Messrs Gunderaon and Shute carried on the business they secured a first-class connection for supplying timber in Wellington and the S"uth Island. All this is also the Company'*. Mr David Menderson's services as Managing Director are secured by the Company, and'several of the Directors have persphally inspected the 'working of the various mills, anrf they can confidently recommend the enterprise to the favorable consideration ef Investors, Among the. many ad: vantages of a business of this character is the fact that a large quantity of timber is sent out of the district monthly and about i'oOti of this money is circulated in men's wages, and the other expenses necessary fyr working the business, thus causing all classes of the community to benefit thereby.
