HOOPING COUGH This complaint is very prevalent nmonsst children at the present time Mother Mary Joseph Aubert's " Martjpa" has been most successfully experimented with during the past tour weeks for this epidemic. The proprietors are pleased to say tho results are most encouraging. They are assured there is no other remedy to equal " Marupa,' and all parents whose children have or show signs of developing Whooping Congh should immediately call at the nearest chemist's and get a bottle. The remedy is not a cheap and nasty preparation, but a skilfully compounded medicine, made by a lady who thoroughly understands the complaints of children, and whose knowledge of the vegetation of New Zealand enables her to combat with disease. WHOOPING COUGH. Wellington, 10th August, 1891. MILLWARD, Secretary. d HOULD LOCAL INDUSTRIES BE O ENCOURAGED? Can anyone for one m ment doubt that local industries sh u!d not be helped on ? The wealth < f any country is assured when the whol of its population is fully employed. We hear of large facto, iea in English and American cities, where hundreds an 4 thousands of hands ai e kept at work. Why should a country like New Zealand have one single pair of idle hinds? Natare has bountifully provided a grand aoi', good climate, and a luxuiious permit a'ion, and we are certain that the efforts of Mother Mary Joseph Aubert to bring forward good ' reliable remedies, made purely from N. Z. vegeUtiin, will in time give employment to many pairs of hands, and be one of the best advertisements for this highly favoured colony. Why should the public insist on having English or American Medicines when thoy can get the very best articles at their very doors? Wo sincerely ask that a fair trial be given, and we are very confident of results. Karana, Marcpa, Natanata and Paramo will become household wcrds.
