ALLEGED FORGERY.
A&othir Committal
In the R.M. Court this morning, before Colonel 7 Roberts. R.M., and Messrs J Gardiner and B. Boys, J.P.'s, the Bench intimated that it considered the evidence in the two Duckett charges sufficient to justify a committal.
The accused, Murdook M'Kenzie, was then committed to take his trial at the next sitting of the Supreme Court to be held in Wellington. Mr Pownall nnnouncacf y»t the defence would be reßerved?^ft"C_^ The charge of having forged the "" name of Biohard Tankersley to a Road Board receipt for £Mpn'6r about the Oth of May, then proceeded with, Mr Edwin Meredith, J.P., taking the place of Mr Burton Boyß on the Benoh.
