(UniUi Arabciation). Auckland, September 7. Ellen Howard, alias Rowe, has been committed for trial on a charge of larceny of a cash box and contents, talued at £IB2B. and fatalities. With the impetus he had on Sibbin fell backwards •ver the other's back and tumbled to the ground on his neck. At the inquest tor-day the post mortem showed that the cause of death was rupture, by a fall, of a blood vessel at the base of the skull. The jury gave - a verdict of Accidental Death, exon-. orating Hough from all blame, and . commending his fair and manly style of- pl»y« - Several witnesses stated that tbe Association game is much safer than the Rugby. .Another accident occurred on Saturday. Sogers, a-son of the landlord of the Papakura Hotel, having broken very badly.
