All Nominations, Entries, and Acceptances (to be made in writing, addressed to the Secretary at the Observer Office, Carterlate train from 'Wellington on the advertised date of closing. No nominations or acceptances will be received on any pretence whatever unless accompanied by the necessary fee. 4. "A Hack shall mean a horse that has never started for, or is entered for, a weight j has not been nominated for Derbies, Champagnes, or Guineas to be run for this racing season: hack races excepted. 5. In all Nominations for Handicaps the ' name, age, pedigree, color, sex* and previous performances of. the horse, name of owner Lid colors of rider must be given.
