A match between the second fifteens of the Ked Star and Petone Clubs will be played on the Park Oval at 12.80 sharp to-morrow. The following are the respective teams '. —Stars —Emmett, Green, Thompson, Benall, Galloway, Hansen, Fellingham, Collier, Butement, Deadman, Cole, H. Welch, Barrer, C. Ewington, Gardner Emergencies, Parker, Boddington. Pike. Petone—Jackson, M'llrride, Bodmin, Ryan, Mears, Ambler, Gougb, Gould, Speedy, M'Arthur, King, Edwards (2), Death, Johnston and Stevens.
The following team will represent the Violets in a match with the Selwyns on Saturday :—McGuire, Bennington, Jackson, Parker, Williams, Fellingham, C. King, Wellington, Webb, Marsh, Doughty, Morris, Pickering, Broadbent, Wickens. Emergencies, Petersen, Lett, Jago.
The Secretary of the Wairarapa Union has written to Wellington to state that it is impossible for them to meet the representatives there on Saturday week, and suggesting that the match be played in Master ton.
