MEMORANDUM of Agreementmade between KIRKCALDIE and STAINS, Div.pers, Wellington, N.Z., and E. CALVAT FILS. Glove Manufacturer, iu Grenoble (France). The said Kirkcaldie and Stains agree to become the SOLE AGENTS for E Calvat Fils for the sale of the said E. C. Fils' Kid Gloves in New Zealand for the Term of Nine Years. The following are the terms and conditions on which this present agreement is signed and confirmed: —
Ist. That the said Kirkcaldie and Stains order not less that ONE THOUSAND POUNDS worth of K. Calvat Fils' Gloves par year. 2nd. All Gloves shall be up to the standards of the different qualities ordered, such standards to be taken from Kirkcaldie and Stains' stock of E. Calvat Fils' Gloves. 3rd. This agreement shall date from Ist July, 1891. 4th. That all gloves shall be delivered in London to Kirkcaldie and Stains' appointed Agents within ten weeks > after receipt of order, and shall be ; - " 'well and faithfully packed in tissue wadding and boxed, and in air' tight zine and wood cases, these to be fe charged for on invoiqe. 6th. Prices shall be as quoted, except the market for skins alters. The '■':•■ "terms shall be 1J per cent prompt cash. 6th, All goods must be sound and new. and free from blemish and spots ; but it is distinctly understood that after they have been controlled by E & S's Agents in London E. Calvat Fils will not have to support any damage or loss that could happsn on the way to New Zealand. 7th. Indents must be executed exactly to colors, sizes, qualities, quantities, and time. Brh. In consideration of the proper fulfilment of the proceeding clauses K.
