FORGERY.

Arrest of Mr Murdoch KcSoncio

Mr Murdoch McKenzie, of Masterton, was arrested this morning on a charge of having forged the name of J. Duckett to a receipt of the Masterton Road Board for the Bum of £7 4s. The alleged offence was committed some months ago, and the information waß laid by the Government Auditor. The accused will probably be charged with the offence in the R.M, Court this afternoon.
