LAND BOARD.

The monthly meeting of the Land Board was held yesterday. Present— Messrs J. fi. Baker (Commissioner, jn the chair), W. A. Fitaherbert, W. W, McCariie, A. W. Hogg, M.HR, and D, H. Macarthur, M.H.R. The following applications for titles were approved:—J. T. Marriott, section 5, block 9, Mangahao; J. Macdonald, section 18, block 11, Mangahao; G. H, Scales, sections 118 and 119, block J, Mangaone, A. Burling, section 12, block 10, Maugaone; J. Stevensen, section 2, block 4, Makuri; A. McFarlane, section 21, block 11, Man gaone. The following applications for titles were not approved;—J. E. Wilton, section 52, Mangahao; J. T. Marriott, section 4, block 3, Mangahao ; A. Burling, section 20, block 11, Mangaone. The following applications to transfer were approved : Sections 78 and 90, block Kopuaranga, W. H. Buick to F. Wrigley; part of section 501, block 8, Waiohine, G. H. Houghton to E. Kelley. The Board resolved to resoind the resolution relatire to the sale of lots 8 and 9, Tutaekara Native Reserve, with a view to offering the front portion on the village homestead system and the back sections to auction at a price to be fixed by the Com* missibner jn the Surveyor's report.
