(United Press Association.) Valparaiso, August 23. Fifteen thousand men have marched out to meet the insurgents. The wires are all cut and the in* habitants of the town are fleeing. , August 24. The insurgents forced the passage in Aconcagua on Friday last. Heavy lighting took place all day, and 8000 were either killed or wounded. The President's troops retreated on their main defences within 3ight of Valparaiso, where a battle is raging with great carnage. A constant Btream of wounded is entering the city from the battlefield.
