Tbe following unusual notices appears in Wednesday's issue of tie .Napier Telegraph:—Births.— McCarteny At Napier, on the 11th August, the wife of Arthur McCarteny of a son.—McCarteny —it Napier, on 12th August, the wife of Arthur McCarteny of a daughter. The payment of tbe indemnity for the outrage committed on the English Mission Station? has been arranged by the Chinese local authorities, and England now demands the punishment of the rioters.
