RAILWAY ACCIDENTS.

Terrible Affair at Berae. Fatal Collision la Wales. Berne, August 17. Twelve persons where killed and many injured by a railway collision in this city, where the visitors' festival is being held. The train was shunting at Zollikofen in order to allow the Paris express to pass, when the latter came up and dashed into it. LATER. Forty-eight persons were injured by the railway accident at Zollikofen. London, August 17. By a railway collision at Pontypridd, in Wales, fifteen persons were injured, and three of the cases are expected to prove fatal. Later particulars of the railway accident at Pontypridd greatly increase the number of the injured, thirty of whom are not expected to recover.
