EKETAHUNA NOTES.

(From Oar Own Correspondent). The long spell of dry weather broke this morning with a very welcome shower of rain. Water has been very scarce all through the winter, most of the wells having dried up. The rain will therefore be very welcome. The Bush football team, one and all, say the play of the Wairarapa fi they have played against this season. Father McEenna conducted Mass here in Anderson's Hall on Sunday, the Salvation Army held services in the Town Hall, and at the Wesleyan Church both services were well attended. Sermons were preached by Messrs Smith and Baylisa.
