HOUSE op REPRESENT A TIYES. TUESDAY, JULY 28th. $Ga ZEALAND BANK BILL. The report of the Select Co cumittee on the above Bill was adopted, and the Bill read a third time and passed. WELLINGTON ELECTRIC LIGHTING BILL. After some discussion on the above Bill, the following amend-nent was carried, on the motion of Mr T. E. Macdonald:—" That the Bill be recommitted to the former Committee, and that the act should not come into force unless within three months after it was passed the citizens of Wellington had expressed their approval of it in public meeting, that it be suh""""nutted to* poll of the ratepayers, and tint thrill he sent back to the Committee to be amended accordingly," THE TR T JCK BILL. It was decided that the Truck Bill be considered in Committee. In Committee a number of amend ments were made to the Bill. SHOP HOURS BILL. The Shop Hours Bill was considered in Committee, and a number Of amendments made. STOCK DRIVING BILL. This Bill was brought down from the Legislai||F Council, and read a first time. "jM EMP&^:RS r LIABILITY BILL. The House went into committee on this Bill, which passed with slight amendments.
