ENGLISH, London, July 24. Mr Brand, a Radical, has been elected for Wisbeach by a majority of 260 over Mr Duncan, the Tory candidate. In the appeal case of the Rev. M M'Leod v, Attorney* General of New South Wales, the conviction of the former, who was arrested in New Zealand for bigamy, was quashed, with costs, on the ground of want of jurisdiction.
