WHEREAS the Clerk of the Licensing Committee for the Borough of Masterton Licensing District has, by writill" under his hand, dated the 20th day of JULY. 1891, notified me as kE TURNING OFFICER for the said District, that at a sifting of the Resident Maoistrate's Court holden at Masterton on the 15th day of JULY, 1891, the Resident Magistrate declared void the election of the .Borough of Masterton Licensing Committee holden at Masterton on the 29th of MAY, 1891, and whereas the vacinciea thereby created are deemed to be extraordinary vacancies and a fresh election is necessary to fill the same, I therefore appoint FRIDAY, the SEVENTH DAV of AUGUST, 1891., the day for the election of five persons to fill the said vacancies, and I appoint the Town Clerk's Office, Chapel street, Masterton, the place, and THURSDAY the 30th day of J ULY, 1891, the day for receiving the nomination of candidates. EKfcTAHUNA ROAD BOARD. NOTICE is hereby given that it is intended at a meeting of the Eketahuua Road Board, to be held on SATURDAY, the 15th day of August, 1891, to make the following Special order :
That for the purpose of securing payment of i,he sum of £IOO granted to the Board under "The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 188G," for the erection of a Suspension Bridge at Hawcra Road, a apecial rate of 10-lGths of a penny in the £ be made and levied on the rateable value of the following sections : —l, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 20a, 21, 22, 23, 24, 2G, 27, 28 Block II ; sections 6, 7 Block 111, all in the Mangaone Purvey District, and section 20, Elock XIV, Mangahao Survey District. Such special rate shall be an annually rccurnDp' rate, and will be paid in two bdlf yearly instalments for twenty six years, on the fin>t day of February and the first day of August in each year until the debt is liquidated.
