The programme was next considered and the following alterations were made:—Section to be inserted for girls ponies, 14 hands, to be ridden by girls; that no horse in the 16 stone class carry less weight tuan 11 stone, other weight currying classes must be within a stone of the weight entered; in caHle, Polled Angus, yearhng.and 2 year old to be inserted; that a man be appointed by the Association to milk dairy cows ; in sheep, that entries be received fcr Border and English Leicosters; in pigs a class be inserted for Chinese pigs, That no prizes be given, but spaces be allotted for agricultural imple« ment makers, so that exhibitors would be able to show their productions to the beat auvautago, a charge
