At the inquest on the lata Walter Dignan, solicitor, the medical evidence of Dr Hames showed that deceased consulted him about a constitutional affection three months agro, but in no. way affecting his death. Witness discovered after two or three interviews that deceased was suffering' from melancholia, but he was not in an insane state of mind, He did not think he was fit to attend to his business, and communicated to the members of his family that he should not be allowed out of their sight,' Witness prescribed the drops of carbolic mouth wash for the deceased about May last.
