Pianoforte Company, who are selling about as many pianos in a day as most firms sell in a week, caused a bit of a Bensation on Lambton Quay, Wellington, one day recently by entirely blocking the pavement by huge piano cases. The pianos had just been landed, and Mr M.J, Brookes, the Company's enterprising manager, instead of bringing them to the warehouse one at a time as most people do, engaged every "lorry" in town pretty well, and the large consignment of "musical boxes" was driven along Lambton Quay in a kind of triumphal procession. The display served its object and attracted a good deal of attention from the public, and although Mr Brooke had not the good fortune to be summoned for creating an osbtructi'm, he quite managed to adequately impress people with the extraordinary deyelopment his business is undergoing. Sporting men would find it groatly[to their advantage by c jrrespondiu? with A. J. Jacobs, the professional Taxidermist from London.
