R.M. COURT.
EKETAHUNA—FRIDAY. (Before Colonel Roberts, R.M., A. Anderson, and F. Von Beden, J.P.'s.) Police v Street.—Breach of the wheol tire by-law. Case withdrawn. Constable Roache v Charles Perry. —Carrying- loaded fire arms in a railway carriage. Defendant pleaded guilty, but stated in defence that lie had lent the gun, and when it was returned to him he was unaware that it was loaded till it went off in handling at the station. James Johnston, porter, and the station master also gave evidence for the prosecution. Perry was fined 19s, and costs lis. Police y Halburg.—Allowing cattle co be at large on a public road. Defendant pleaded guilty and was fined 2s 6d, and costs 18s. James Jones v. John Stewart. — Claim £Vd for goods supplied. Defendant did not appear. Judgment for amount claimed, with costs 21s.
F. D. Pelling v. Perrin.—Claim £3 10s, money lent. No appearance of defendant. Judgment for amount claimed, with cost 12s. The Court then adjourned.
