Wellington, Monday. .jt. Since the publication of the Fin*n>, ' <V cial Statement the Government haa\ received several oritioisms and BUgges- '' tions respecting the incidence of the new taxes. Amongst them is '■ pointing out that building sooietieß who received money on deposit, and lend it out to mortgages, will huMjLP pay a tax on this money, not their own. It is pointed out that - this is a very .serious matter for sooioties.
