It was decided that a clause . be inserted in the Act making it a finable offence for owners of houses to let or allow the same to be used for immoral purposes. Itw resolved that power ho given to municipal bodies to compel owners of ' vacant sections to fence the sane la ■ all cases, and the costs of such fencing to be a charge on the land, ■ 7 '

The Manieipal Conference decided that power tie to corperate bodies to cancel when necessary licenses of drivers and conductors of public conveyance; that it be advisablejfeo give corperations power to erect gas-works within their boundaries without going to the legislature for special powers; that there.be a clause inserted in the Municipal Co-opera-tions Act empowering Bo roughs to abate the gorse, broom, and bramble nuisance on private lands ; that the clause of the Impounding Act be amended so as to render the working ©fitmore satisfactory.
