Wellington, Jjfcgy. The Land Board held meeting this morning to consider a. case of alleged dummyism in con" nection with section 74, Block 8, Mangahao Settlement, Wairarapa. Crawford Anderson ex-M.H.ft, wHP applied for and seoured the land, . on examination said he found himself unable to carry out the conditons, and applied for a transfer, which the Board refused, and the Commissioner advised him to carry out the improvements necessary under the Act. Dr Fitchett advanced the money for the purpose, and the interest not being, paid foreclosed on enquiry was adjourned till Monday.
