Tho Hon i>. 8. Shrimski, M.L.C., presided ut tho Police Court this morning. Before the rising of the Court Mr Shrimski said he must decline in future ttr sit on the Bench, as the mannor in which the R.M. (Mr Stratford) treated the Justices of tho Peace of this district, in not asking them to sit on the Bench with him, prevonted them learning anything of lo >v or Court procedure. In no other districts in New Zealand were Justices of the Peace treated similarly. ,
