ROAD BOARD.

A meeting of the Caatlepoint Road Board was held on Saturday last. Present:—Messrs Maunsell (chairman), Langdon, Sutherland, and Andrews, The first business was the election of chairman for the ensu?ne year. Mr J. F. Maunsell was unanimously re-elected to that office. The j Clerk stated that the retiring members of the previous meeting had 'been re-elected and duly gazetted. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The. Treasurer reported balance in Bank £17613s 3d. Letters were read from Messrs Payton & Co., re account; from Colonial Secretary, re gazetting members of the Board; from Mr W. G. Beard, re conveyance of land for road. The Clerk was directed to write to Messrs Elder & Co., re payment of balance due McEenzie for road. Ac counts amounting to £44 17s lOd were passed for payment, and the Board adjourned.
