MASTERTON SCHOOL.

A special meeting of the Masterfcon School Committee was held in the Central Chambers las- (Monday) evening, the whole ol the members being present. The chair was occupied by Mr E. Feist. The finamcial position of the school was discussed at length, Mr Beard, on behalf of the sub-committee, reporting thereon. It was decided to make special application to the Education Board and Town Lands Trustees, and tliat the ordinary meeting of the Committee be held on Monday, 29th June, to permit of replies being received from these bodies.

The meeting then adjourned.
