FOOTBALL.

A meeting of the Wairarapa Rugby Union was held at Carterton last evening, delegates being present from the various Clubs of the district, and Mr S. Nicholls presiding.

A committee of one member of each club was appointed to classify players. The second round for the Senior Cup nas then drawn. The following team will represent Pahiatua in the Cup match with Eketahuna on Monday next: —T. Hall; Brougbton (2), T. Hodgins; J. Gosling, F. Morris ; J. McCardle, F. Perry, F. H. Vile, J. Williams, F. Sayers, C. Morris, Hempton, E. Vine, and G. Eaton. The following is the Grey town second fifteen that play the Oriental first on Monday next, at Greytown : —Backs, Udy, Tukey, Tinga, Danger, Rutine, Wood and Nicholls ; forwards, Beard, Reuben, King, Amos, Manehera, Mitchell, Ingley, and D Udy. Emergencies, Rune and Jacobs.
