The Public Trust Commission report will not be ready for some weeks, as they are waiting for returns which cannoo be provided under a fortnight at least. The Commissioners are much disappointed at not getting the extension of time asked fo>% and have forwarded a remonstrance to the Government. It is said that the cost of the Commission will be £BOOO or .£4OOO, Thiß amount has been spent chiefly on the extra assistarce required to extract information which the Commissioners thought would have been iu readiness for them.
